A couple of days ago I ran Linspire Live! to get an impression of that operating system and I shared my thoughts with my readers. I was impressed with it but I wasn’t able to test it thoroughly because it never actually touches the hard drive. Though this allows for a first impression, it’s not practical to run it regularly enough for a full end-user experience; the type of experience that your every day home user would have.
I’m happy to say that, if all goes well, I will be bringing you a review of the full commercial version of Linspire Linux soon. I’ll be familiarizing myself with the operating system over the next week or two but in the mean time keep checking back. I’ll post any updates on the progress here on SIM.
