Firefox Mega Memory Usage

This was incredible, and is the first time that I’ve seen Firefox using so much system memory.

The browser locked up when I opened the second - yes, only the second - tab to check my GMail. Actually, I’ve been getting spammed in GMail lately and I was logging in to flag the mail as such, but that’s another store story entirely.

Anyway, so I close the program and then try to relaunch the browser, but I receive a message saying that Firefox is already running. I do the three finger salute to bring up the task manager to kill it, and this is where my eyes bugged out of my head for a brief moment.

You have to see this to believe it. :) Firefox using darn near 300 MBs of RAM.
