Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Gameplay Footage March 20th

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion gameplay footage will be shown live via streaming video at Gamespot.com. They will be playing the game for 12 straight hours (!), and you will be able to see the game reviewer himself in a picture-in-a-picture. See live the effects of a huge gaming session! Ew, that’s not going to be pretty…
There will also be a chat room that will allow viewers to chat with one another as they watch the gameplay video of Oblivion. However, they will not be able to talk with the reviewer directly.
There is a catch: You must be a paying subscriber to Gamespot.com in order to watch the streaming video. So us freebie folks will not be able to watch the video. On the bright side, that means that the game won’t be spoiled for us. Unless someone records it and puts the video on Bitorrent, that is!
I typically don’t see any real perks to being a paying subscriber to a game site such as Gamespot.com, but this is actually an interesting idea. Oblivion is certainly a great way to kick this off and I wonder if they’ll have similar “gameplay marathons” in the future.
