So this was a fun night. I snuck out of work tonight. At the moment I do care a little about whether or not I keep the job, but not a whole lot.
Most of the nights I’ve been having issues remaining focused. You know the Straterra commercial about your mind “changing channels”? [...]
My Chiasm CD arrived today. (Note: Music begins to play automatically on the linked site via a streaming flash applet)
This is the first CD that I have purchased in many years. A mixture of a strong disinterest in today’s music and a terrible distaste for the RIAA guarantees that they won’t be [...]
I arrived at work today and was told that I was supposed to come in at 5:30 PM now and not 3:00 to 3:30 PM as previously. As far as I know no one mentioned this to me last Friday.
Maybe they did and I didn’t hear them – I’m not really complaining either way.
Yay! [...]
MSNBC just reported that the quake has been upgraded from either an 8.2 or 8.5 to an 8.7. That’s according to the USGS.
I’ve also heard mention of some deaths and a very small tsunami, but it seems like this quake, though very big, is not going to be anywhere nearly as destructive as the [...]

Since I have to go to work in two hours I am posting this URL for me to reference later. Some locals have been posting about the quake.

edit: WordPress annoyingly did not make the MSNBC link clickable; edited to make it a link.
MSNBC – Tsunami alerts follow 8.2 quake near Sumatra

This quake measures either 8.2 or 8.5, considering who you talk to. The Japanese are saying 8.5 and I’ll believe them over the USGS. [...]
I fixed the latest Permalink bug by changing the Permalink URI structure. It can now find the Religious Background document.
I just wrote an absolutely huge document describing my Religious background and yet again this particular Page can’t be loaded. This time, WordPress thinks that the document doesn’t exist. Nevermind that I can edit it from the admin panel.
*sigh*
This is yet another issue related to the “search engine friendly” URLs and the redirect. [...]
It was a much quicker visit than I was planning and I didn’t get to visit the Kenpo dojo, either.
Note: Though a part of my brain insists that it’s called something other than a “dojo” in the Kenpo style, I can’t remember what it’s called.
When I arrived at the Genbu-Kai dojo I noticed that [...]
You know you’re probably too much of a gamer when your dreams take on the form of video games; at least initially.
The setting is a mall. It’s a large mall with at least two stories.
The video game part starts rather quickly. People begin keeling over & dieing and rising as undead. Others [...]
